Review of The EventStorming Handbook

Rating: 4 out of 5.

I really like how Paul Rayner broke up the book into 3 sections – Ingredients, Recipes, and Cooking. Those analogies are familiar and make sense. The first part talks about the pieces and concepts. The second part gets into the recipes for hosting different types of EventStorming sessions – Big Picture, Business Process, and Focus and Flow. The last part talks about questions that may come up as a facilitator as well as resources for further learning.

I rated this 4 out of 5 stars because there are still some sections that are either just a heading or a heading with a few sentences and not complete. However, even though there are unfinished sections, this is a great resource to have on hand for getting into facilitating EventStorming sessions.
